Tool Change
There are two options when a tool change must occur during machining operations. An operator must manually remove the existing tool and replace it with a new one, or an automatic tool change must occur. An automatic tool change requires either a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder to compress the drawbar to release the tool from spindle.
